Locate and Destroy USN Task Force in suspected sectors 10.6, 11.6 & 12.6. Launch from C8 and follow recommended flight path as shown on the attached map. Divide Red Flight Escorts into two flights where the flight path splits with the B5N2’s flying directly Eastward through the center of each suspected sector. This will allow for a full sector search flight pattern to locate the USN Task Force. Primary Target: CV

All B5N2 pilots are allowed a 2nd life however they MUST NOT FLY A 2nd B5N2 aircraft for their 2nd life (A6M2 or D3A1 are o.k. to fly for 2nd life). All A6M2 & D3A1 have only 1 life.


Also, and very important for B5N2 assigned squadrons, DO NOT launch more B5N2’s than the maximum number as noted below in your assignment. If your squadron fields more than the maximum, then have the extra pilots fly A6M2’s to provide additional escort protection for your assigned target.


Naval Surface Battle: Near the tail end of the frame there will be a surface to surface naval battle in sector 11.9. Everyone is encouraged to join in this battle by manning gun positions on C28 & C29. Also at approximately T+90 PT Boats will be allowed to spawn to join the battle. (Note: No aircraft are to attack the Task Forces in sector 11.9. Also no surface Naval craft are to shoot at aircraft in sector 11.9.)
