Main attack to C3 and A35


This attack will lift off from C7 and climb out dew east. My plan is for 3 waves in rapid succession. First wave will be a large fighter sweep whose job will be to clear the targets of defenses. A close sweep who is about 1 minute behind the main sweep tasked with the same job but also can be called back as escort to the bomber or can peek off to kill any unescorted bombers they see. And a 3rd wave made up of a combined force of B5N’s and a small number of escort A6M’s. The zeros in the last wave are to stay in visual of the bombers at all times.


Scout will go ahead of the sweep to radio the location of the CV. Flights are to stay on course and together until the ships are located at which point they are to proceed to target. Once on target the squad tasked to hit the CV will do so then other targets as ordinance allows. Dive-bombing is suggested as fleets are allowed to maneuver.


After the drop unarmed B5N’s should return to the nearest airfield to rearm or replane for their second life in the ride of their choice. B5Ns and fighter sweep are then to proceed to the target airfield to hit targets there. Note that one hanger is worth all other targets on the field combined so they should be the priority. At this point all planes can rearm at nearest field and are free to hunt. B5N’s may replane for their second life.
