In planned order of arrival at target.

City Squad:(B24'S with 8 x 1000)

Leader Ean (he has bombed allot of cities), with Zak and Thud

Factory Squads: (B17 12 X 500)

1) Leader Klingan, Nutte and one other

2)Leader Medic, Saffron and one other.

The HQ and or back up squads.

HQ Squad: (B24'S with 8 x 1000)
Leader Yarbles + Floatsup and Mark

Troop killer squad (B17 12 X 500)
Leader Kvuo and 2 others.

Choices reflect my knowledge of the squad and can be ammended. The cleanup squads need to be very accurate. If anyone thinks they are in the wrong squad please let me know. Ean and Medic are placed because they need to lead now. I dont have much experience flying bombers with Nutte Thud and Saffron.

When down or your mission is over get in the fastest thing that has some bombs you think will do some damage. 234'S may be good here. Get back in the battle fast. City Priority 1 factories 2 Hq 3 Bases that re supply the HQ 4 When its all down we take bases and pork loads of ord and troops.

More volunteers please:

We have 4 spaces minimum plus mark has not confirmed. The more the merrier. If you think you are a top notch accurate bomber stick volunteer for Vuo's squad they have the hardest job.

In the event of 2 large maps fear not bounce

After consultation with our Strategic Guru Vuo Plan B will be initiated where we will drop all the strats in one Zone.

See Plan B (LARGE MAPS ONLY)

as me and yarbs were talking today, we figure teh ideal situation for massive strat-hq run would be on a small map since all the strats (and HQ) are in 1 zone.

on the large maps with multiple zones, we figure ideally the bombin run can flatten all strats and hence make every important strat target at bases require the full 2 hour resupply time.

i suggest hittin ord, troop, ack and radar factories down to 0% . and of course, the city should be dead to 0% if possible.

the final effect should be, instead of 45 minute downtime on an individual base's strat targets, it will be the full 2 hours, for every base in the zone. whether people are porking the bases themselves will remain to be seen.

I think simply put we will convert my HQ squad and Kvuo's baracks killers into two more factory killing squads.

Plan B (Large Map)

City Killing Squad: Leader Ean plus Zak and Thud (B24's 8x1000).

Factory Squads (B17's 12 x500)

Leaders
Klingan + nutte + Apollo

Medic + saffron + 1

Yarbles + Chungo + Floats +

Kvuo + marcds + (Plus X if he shows)

Here is a basic layout and as more come on board we can include them. Medic and Ean both have a chance to prove themselves here, Marc and Floats are getting a well earned rest from command.

Here is Plan A (small map) for comparison which applies to a small map where the HQ is also a target as it is in the same zone as the factories.

In planned order of arrival at target.

City Squad:(B24'S with 8 x 1000)

Leaders

Ean (he has bombed allot of cities), with Zak and Thud

Factory Squads: (B17 12 X 500)

Klingan, Nutte and Apollo.

Medic, Saffron and one other.

The HQ and or back up squads.

HQ Squad: (B24'S with 8 x 1000)
Yarbles + Floatsup and Chungo

Troop killer squad (B17 12 X 500)
Kvuo and Marcds and X if he shows.

Show up on Sunday in the MA from around 2.30 EST onwards (in case our squad meeting finishes early in which case 2.45 if on time) and Ill slot you in as bomber or heavy escourt if you prefer.

So far I am also expecting Choker and Serenity as extras. Everyone will be required to follow team orders as this is definatley a team event. If you show up X i will most likely allocate you to me or Vuo as we are your best mates in the squad Very Happy

I have just run a set of B17'S over the troops and on my own got the factory to 37% in 2 paases.

Then

I took a set of 24's over the city and on my own got it down to 47% in 2 passes.

Admitedly unopposed but WE have 3 Sets of Bombers allocated to each target and 2 further groups who will if necessary back up The City, The Troops and The Ammo factory.

I hope

1) People can work as a team. With Squad leaders actually providing leadership.

2) They will make sure they set salvo 1

3) They will make sure they open the doors and calibrate on manifold 40 in very good time.

4) They will make sure they dont loose the Drones on the turn and the leaders will turn slowly to facilitate that.

5) They will give there flight there individual targets in good time.

And I really hope the squad leaders at least have copies of the maps.

Good luck everyone cheers

I flew a single Corasir F4U D sortie against an ammo facory and got 16% DOWN.

I used all the maching guns. To finish the factories on sunday noe atack sorties using the likes of Typhoon, P47, P41 F4'S F6'S Nikki even. 2 planes should be able to do 30% especially where there is already splash damage.

If anyone is down or finished early I would advise a return in one of the above.
