| Reiner doesnt come to many meetinggs and is never on here but nevertheless in the game I think hes a great squaddie.
Reiner moans and complains about the Knights allot like most of us used to. A large number of us flew a tour with Bish and than a tour with Rooks and I think that cured us. I told Reiner and would tell anyone else who wants to they can do the same just let the rest of us Know. We will keep their place open for them for 2 Tours. Most of us have had the chance so I would extend the same opportunity to all.
Its not my squad so if you disagree say so.

| I dont go to meetings either, but I will go with the squads vote. I dont like Bish or Rook. Eventhough the knights get their heads handed to us their are alot of knight squads that I work with well. From the desk of a fucking THUDMAN | |

| as ive said to reiner, and cav, and many others that say "were gettin our asses kicked" when were losing bases.. we're only getting our asses kicked at taking bases. if u measure progress by how many bases we own, then thats YOUR thing.. "we" may be getting our asses kicked at taking bases, but there are ways to not get YOUR ass kicked.. just go kill a motherfucker, in anything u can, forget about the base that got snuck, dont worry about whether enough knits came to defend some shit base that doesn't really matter.. I really can give a fuck about these large maps especially, since there are usually more bases than players .. I think my theory is to usually concentrate on 1 base, either defending or attacking.. the overall "war" is bullshit and I do not concern myself with it. remember, no matter what, the maps are reset every wednesday, in both arenas. and once someone "wins the war", the map resets. 25 perks? pffft. i probably make at least that every day just fucking around.. So what, we "lose" the war.. there's always a fight on a map, there's always a place to get kills.. where it happens is inconsequential.. also remember we're usually outnumbered, and the bish and rooks are tending towards 20+ player hordes to take bases with no defense. They seem to be fascinated with winning maps lately, so let em.. they'll get bored with it eventually -- maybe!.. | |

| I kind of agree with Vuo and Nutte on this to an extent but also would like to note "The War" is part of the shared aspect of the game and probably means more to some people than others. Because it encourages teamwork it is dissapointing when it is a lost cause and so loses its appeal.
Most of us have flown bish and rook for a tour and know the grass is the same or maybe even less so. There are no answers in changing side but sometimes people need to prove that for themselves.
In general I, I think like say Floats and Reiner among others are happiest when there is some strategic element developing with a view to an elusive victory. That sort of thing gets everyone on board but definatley works best on small maps.
Maybe we should aim to go small map whenever we can even mid or early war if necessary for the sake of teamwork and making a difference?

| yea, small maps are my favorite.. its the only time i actually get close to giving a shit about the war usually cuz I just want to prevent the map from gettin reset and getting stuck on a piece of shite map like tagma for another week.. though again, it doesn't really matter, because in the end, you'll get the "late nite crew" on and they'll roll bases and reset the fuckin map when nobody's home! also.. dont get me wrong.. there is fun to be had in takin a base from time to time, especially when we working together, but i just think it should not be the prime objective, and we should not get down on ourselves just because our country does not win the stupid war | |

This raises an interesting point in that our mission statement indicates that taking bases is our only objective I am generally in favour of mostly working toward winning wars by taking bases but not in the same old boring way over and over again. Our most effective stategy I have noticed is a surprise atack noe 110. When it works best most of the time we just keep shooting buildings relatively un opposed. Can be more than a bit boring. I would like us to come up with a few more strategies/methods like the strategic raid. For example a rapid deack kill ord atack holding cap while a few gv's or 110's take the town down as an alternative to the 110 NOE.
