| Read the E mail first then my comment and I could not get rid of the lines though I tried to edit (part 2) So I said if no one else will do it I will. Really I wanted to volunteer Klingan but I am not sure if He signed up in the first place. Anyway Klingan, Zak and anyone else as he said Sunday evening. Its European FSO so I know Klingan will be in at least. (part 1) Hello fellow players. Do you remember, some time ago, signing up at http://www.steveroot.co.uk/ah2/ to say you'd like to participate in a Sunday Evening, Euro timezone friendly, player organised, historic based Aces High event? After a lot of work in the background (all to Roc, SteffK and Sasmox) it's almost ready to begin. So, we have the CM's, now, we need 1 more player to volunteer to lead a side. "Dhyran" who flies with the Parrots has already volunteered to lead one side so he's been sent the top secret Axis orders by motorbike courier*. Can you be our allied Commanding Officer? The job is to think about what the mission goals are, enlist support of other players to lead your flights, develop a cunning plan to win the event and then change the plan 'on the fly' as you discover that no plan suvives contact with the enemy. Don't worry if you've never done it before, the CM's will be there to help you. In return, you'll get 's for the rest of your virtual life from all your fellow players.
Once we have a volunteer to lead the Allies, we'll work out a start date, get a public forum on the hitechcreations bulletin board (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/) and all have lots of fun.
Please, email me at steve@rootskitchens.co.uk if you are willing to CO.
Thanks, Steve (a.k.a Kanga)
*or by email, I forget how I sent them ;-) PS - did you realise there's a Saturday event running through August. You have to sign up in advance: http://ahevents.org/scenarios/registration.html -- Steve Root

Thanks Yarbles I hope you can make it Nutte. I guess it will be about the time squad meetings take place on a Sunday so I would hope Precision can put up at least 6 or more people. We shall see

(And what marc said) From what ive read it does not seem anywhere near as well organised as FSO yet but its early days. I have asked for around 2 PM est like the squad meeting for the start time and hopefully this is what it will be. Obviously I want to be allies but I know some of you like the axis stuff so maybe we should get those who are interested together nearer the time and vote on it.
