| Does anyone know anything about this plane with relation to its application in the game? For Curnutte: When i get into a slump buddy, i go to youtube and watch aces high II films. I pick up new techniques of how others fly and what they are doing right. Sometimes, a better chair, or reposition urself in the chair, helps too. | |

| I'm looking forward to this plane it could be good for ground attack in a base defense role against GV's . With a hard hitting 37mm gun it can bust most GV's well along with some capabilitys for air to air just to save your ass a bit too !!!! And 2fast thanks for your comments on my slump its now coming out and I'm flying better and operating more in the groove even in Ostwinds where I usually suck at gunnery . |

man, an ostie is a 37mm HE (1000 rounds).. the yak9t is a 37mm HE (30 rounds), the hurricane 2d has 40mm AP (wha.. 20 or 30 rounds). b25h is a 75mm HE (21 rds?) i believe the p39 is 30 rounds of 37mm HE, and two 50 cal mg's.. i'd take my chances in a gv

| But Vuo if you're in a gv and they run they win, if you were in a plane you could chase em down then kick the shit outta 'em. |

| I think it could be good for ground attack, and I think I will take it buff hunting with those gondolas. And it just looks purty | |

| I heard from pilots that flew them in WWII that the plane had a nasty stall and was hard to recover. Had poor performance. So the U.S. sent most of them to Russia for the lend lease program and didnt fly them much. It has to be a good grou nd attack plane but not a good fighter. The russians liked them. | |

| If (doubt it) it's anything like the Yak-9T (even if it's not in real life HTCs modeling sucks so maybe...) it might be fun, I use the 9T quite abit. If you have good aim it's a damn good plane, till you run out of ammo. |

| Not sure about the ENY. At least the engine is behind the pilot, so if you take engine damage it should'nt spray oil all over your windscreen lol | |

yea good luck. I have heard that have horrible stalls due to the fuck-ed up-edness of the weight distribution

| sounds to me like this aircraft will be great for ho-ing. No more shotout engine with head-on engagement. However, if anyone is on ur six, the engine is highly vulnerable. Once again, that leads me to think that this aircraft is meant for ho-ing. | |

| Heh don't know about you guys but I'm looking forward to this plane. 2 .50 cal in the cowling with a hub 37mm is some nice fire power. Then you have an option for 2 more .50 cals on the wings. From what I've read it is is a fair turner but sucks at high altitudes. I don't see that being a problem though because most fights are 12,000 ft. or below, where the P-39 shines. It will pull about 380 at 10,000 ft.(from what I read), which isn't that bad IMO, it's no LA-7, but not every plane needs to be an 1337 '45 plane. The stalling problem only seemed to be an issue once all of the inner guns depleted there ammo, so unless your trying to do acrobats during your RTB, I don't see it being a problem. As far as it going into EW, I wouldn't count on it, the plane was made in '43 so I think that means we will only see it in MW and LW. Well I'm done ranting, I guess we won't really know till we get to fly it. | |
