The Committee

Marc I was wondering if we should have a meeting to discuss some squad biz and other stuff that needs to be addressed , like the squad financial stuff , xtra tees and misc. items of use . What do you think .

Yarbles from this moment on you are the Recruitment/retention officer. your primary goal is to bring new blood into the squad.. that means you need to start scanning the roster and talking to unaffiliated pilots. preferably newbees who can be trained..

I took rettention to mean Morale and I thought retention/morale means get people involved so create the data base so everyone definately knows what is occuring and can be there if they want to be. Events meetings etc make the most of what we have already first and if we have a dedicated group who take things reasonably i.e. not too seriously others will want to join.

Good turn out for meetings events should feed into better missions and a higher profile etc.

I would think this new data base is going to work out just fine, if a person gets a message to attend some function they are more likely to be there or be square
And Yarbles I'm sure your ranking will recieve the highest accords of attention in the committee meeting .

Seriously though once the data base is up and running we can make sure everyone is pulling their weight. Some people are inevitably part time which I think is OK but I think everyone can attend a meeting now and again or if not give a reason.

I would just like to say I have nothing further to add at this time
