pension fund crisis has eased? pension scheme were sold to people on the basis that when they reach retirement age they will have a addition to the state pension.
The pension schemes now need extra contributions because people are not dying quickly enough, its a licence to print money - they sold pension schemes knowing that they were not realistic, how many times in the life of these pension scemes will they keep asking for more and more contributions.

house prices i agree with 20% 30% house price fall means nothing i bought a house for 19k and sold it for 60k hurrah!

Comsumption of cars and pcs represents nothing but access the credit.
