| Mobius joins the medal table with "The Fighter Medal" and congratulations. The medal is real plastic (beware of cheap imitations) Klingan moved up to Fighter Ace silver with 3x because its the third medal but not unexpected . (real plastic hand painted in silver ooooooh). Now if you dont fly fighter its still great we are developing fighter skills in the squad. They will be very usefull in missions, events and scrimmages. If you fly fighter and get your arse handed to you 4 x out of 5 but dont mind ok no problem. If you want a 50/50 chance in a fight or better and you arnt getting it you might do well to speak and fly with someone who might know something you dont. I did 10 minutes on defelction shooting with Zak the other day in the TA and he reckoned it made a huge difference to his killing powers. I ve come from nowhere to about average by pestering people like Klingan (more than anyone ), Kvuo and Floats for help. If anyone wants me to go to the TA or DA with them just ask. I am sure that is true of everyone else in the squad. I think we are all happy to help eachother if help is wanted. Fighter Medal:(20 kills for 19 deaths in under 10 hours) Marcds Reiner Saffron Voids Yarbles 12 High My2fast Mobius Fighter Ace Bronze: (30 Kills for 14 deaths in 10 hours) Floatsup Fighter Ace Silver : (40 Kills for 13 deaths in 10 hours) Kvuo Klingan Fighter Ace Gold (50 Kills for less than 11 Deaths in 10 Hours) ???? | |

He really has got very very good in a fighter and I am not introducing another medal for a while because I think he will just go and get that as well. I feel lucky to have people of this calibre to fly with and learn from. I am opening the gold paint as I write. | Thats why i am impressed with his Attack K/D ratio. Because that reflects his "true" skill.

Not strictly speaking as a measure of fighter skill. I know someone who can kill 8 GV's in a row With an A20 in atack. Very skillfull but not as a fighter pilot. My experience is there isnt such a great difference between when I pick and when I dont. I fly fighter to kill and not be killed but I guess I would furball in atack because its too random for me. Anyway its none of it a perfect measure. Bare with me on this one I think it will bed in nicely. I am not sure who is the most skillfull in a fighter and it varies on any given day. What I would deduce is Floats, Kling and Kvuo are head and shoulders above the rest of us and I want to see more people up there.

| Oh don´t get me wrong here. I will fly wingman for Kvuo any day. Flying with Kvuo or Floats really gives you a better chanse to survive. | |

I agree, they also are less likely to want to atack 6 other guys who have the E and Alt advantage. If I fly properly with you and avoid being tempted off into my own usually disasterous adventure I do way better than I would on my own. I also get to observe what you do different from me

| floats and kling are both considerably better than I am in fighters. any time in the DA will show that. whatever score i got so far, is purely by luck. most tours i am nowhere near these numbers.. for a week or so this month, my attack k/d was over 10.0. I think the reason my fighterscore is better this month is cuz i have been flying the tempest more. I havent really changed anything else that Im aware of. also flying 262 and 163 the last week or so as well, when rooks had us backed up to that 163 base for several days. | |
